Thirty years have passed since the late Dr. André Schaerer, chemical engineer and inventor had introduced his Ascolite button shank wrapping system to a receptive industry. Since those early days constant development and automation have brought the Ascolite system to its current state of a perfect thermofused wrapping in 1.2 seconds.
Today the Ascolite system has become a world standard of button safety and appearance. Applying the Ascolite system results in a visible difference in appearance of any shirt, jacket, trousers, overcoat etc. which in return makes your garment look well made and expensive.
Thirty years ago till today, the luxury is not to apply Ascolite but it is a risky luxury not to apply it.
